Dean Harvey

Well, good grief. We have a new member of the family! Dean Harvey Anderson was born on May 26, 2011. Exactly one month ago, today! He is such a joy. Audrey loves him...to death almost. :) Whenever I say, Dean, she'll repeat it, and say, "baby", and then "boy." She now combines some and calls him "Dean Boy." So that is becoming his nickname. Having a second is awesome, but definitely keeps me busy! And Audrey sure keeps me on my toes...constantly. :)

Our new addition!

We have a better shot of this family pose....but Audrey cracks me up.

Easter Sunday

We had a wonderful Easter Sunday. It couldn't have been more perfect weather for the occasion. We were able to spend the day together, and reflect on the Resurrection. We watched Lamb of God and then read the scriptural account. It was a great day. :) Here are some pictures before we went to church.

I could tell she was trying not to smile...

There we go...

This is a cute picture of Audrey...that's why it's up...

Easter BBQ!!

Matt got an early birthday present from his parents...a BBQ grill! We (yes, we) were so thrilled! It was so generous of them! So, we got to have a BBQ on Easter (well, on Saturday), in our very own backyard! And the weather was warm...and NO wind! It was perfect!

The grub.

Grill master and Audrey relaxing with a movie. I love how engrossed Audrey is with the movie.

Easter Continued...

Here are some pictures of our little Easter egg hunt. Audrey just stood staring at her bucket of eggs. And then had to, very carefully, use both hands to carry her bucket. :)

Heading over to the hunting grounds. I love this picture with Audrey and Daddy!

EASTER!!

We had a wonderful Easter! Saturday morning we woke up and had Audrey look for her Easter basket and then a little egg hunt. She loved it! She would get so excited when she would see another egg. Then later that morning, we went to an Easter egg hunt at our park. It was a blast to watch Audrey! As she had had some practice that morning, she was down to business immediately. She just didn't laugh or smile at first. She just went from egg to egg. About half way through, she relaxed a little and started squealing and what not. What was her favorite thing she found in her plastic eggs? A bouncy ball. :) Here's a video of the Easter egg hunt.

Sweetie Pie Audrey Jo

Well, this seems to be the theme of most of my posts...Audrey. And why shouldn't it be? Who wants to see dozens of pictures of Matt or myself? Exactly. So, here are some recent shots of our lil' Audrey Jo.

I don't even think she is eating the cereal she pulled out.

OK. She loves balloons. Somehow, she thought it would be fun to have me tie it around her stomach. Yes, it was her idea, and yes, she kept it there all night...till bedtime.

So, from the un-done hair and the pj's, I know this must be breakfast. But...what was she eating? Better question...what on earth was mommy feeding her? Hopefully toast and jam.

I finally found a small enough curling iron (at DI!) to curl some tighter curls on Audrey's hair. Yes, it's adorable, no it didn't stay, and yes...it was very difficult & time consuming. Worth it? Of course!

Just love those eyes!

The next Food Network Star...

Audrey loves to help in the kitchen. And now she has a cute little apron to wear! Grandma Anderson made her a little apron! Thank you!!

Opening the envelope...

Happy.

Cute.

"Reading" the note from Grandma.

She's quite the doll, if I do say so myself. :)

Christmas 2010

I realized I posted New Years before any Christmas stuff! We had a great Christmas at my parent's home in Twin Falls. It was just us and them. It was nice and relaxing, and Audrey got lots of attention. ;)

On Christmas morning, Audrey came down the stairs and instead of going into the living room where her toys were, went straight into the kitchen. We had to force her to come back in. It was hilarious.

We were greatly blessed this Christmas by both of our families. We appreciate everything they did for us!!

Christmas!! Yes...that is a vacuum and a broom set for Audrey. What can I say?
She loves to sweep and vacuum!

Audrey is overwhelmingly thrilled with everything.
She did perk up after we gave her a bottle and Fruit Loops.

New Years 2011

We had a fabulous New Year. Maybe I (we) need to be more outgoing and what not, but we sure love just staying home together. And that's exactly what we did to bring in the New Year. We had some traditional New Year snacks --lil' smokies, veggie tray, M&M's, Skittles, soda, cheese ball-- and I also made a spicy sausage dip, and cheesecake. It was fun. We then watched Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (which we got for Christmas.) Audrey only last till about 8 pm. ;) I woke up about 11:45 pm. Just in time to break out the Martinelli's.

Our little party!
