Valentine's

Yep. I know it is a little late. But, better late than never...I always say. Here are some pics of our dinner and one of Audrey and I. Don't ask me why Matt and I didn't get a picture together. I got pictures of the food and Audrey...sorry Matt. :)

This was a delicious dessert called "Chocolate Bundles." Mini candy bars go inside a square of puff pastry. I also put in some strawberries. You bring up the sides and twist the tops and bake them. Sooo easy. Then you serve it with some homemade chocolate ganache and whipped cream. Yum!

This was a new recipe I tried for chicken scampi. Holy cats. It was divine. Peppers, butter, garlic and lemon. What's there not to love?

Leap year...

Here are some 6 months photos of Audrey. She would be 6 months on February 30th. Buuut, there is no Feb. 30. So, we counted March 1st as her 6 month birthday! She is as fun and cute as ever. She rolls around the room getting into things. She started lunging a little bit, so it seems crawling is in the not-to-distant future.

Well, here are some videos of our Audrey Jo. She is growing so much! We have started her on rice cereal and as a result her bowels have been a bit constipated. So, I noticed they have prunes as baby food. So, we tried some aaand they worked. :)



Audrey loves her toes. I am amazed that she can get her toes to her mouth with those chunky legs!!

Well, I was intent on doing something cute and different with Audrey's hair. So, I sat her on my lap and fixed her hair while she played with a toy. I've posted pics of her hairdo. Cute you say? Yep, but at a cost. As she sat on my lap, she soon very loudly filled her diaper, which seeped through her diaper and clothes onto MY pants. Oh, well...the things we do for beauty. :)
I also included some pictures of her hair when I put in sponge curlers. It just gave her a curled mohawk.

Audrey's 3 month pictures...a month late.

I didn't get around to getting Audrey's picture taken at 3 months liked I'd planned. I guess it turned out to be a good thing, because Audrey got some really cute dresses for Christmas!! These are some of my favorites.

Another great New Year. We spent it home, relaxed, with lots of food and movies. Quite enjoyable. Audrey didn't make it up till midnight (a first...figures.). Matt and I barely did...I was determined to stay up and not go to bed before midnight as if we were an old married couple. ;) These are a few pics of New Year's Eve and a couple of Audrey with different interesting hairdos. I love her hair!!!

She's ready for the cold...

Well, it was another grrreat Christmas! It was just like a Doris Day, Moonlight Bay Christmas, with a sleigh ride and all! We were in Oak City this year and had a marvelous time with Matt's familia! First time EVER his current family (daughters-in-law and new grandbabies) has been together for Christmas! :) And the first time in 6 years his family has been together for Christmas. We got some great footage of Audrey's first Christmas experience, (you will see that her parents are much more excited for her than she is. ;)) of the "one horse open sleigh" ride, and much, much more. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
