Uno mas....

So, I may be going overboard on "getting caught up." I'm on a roll, so I just keep posting! Back in April, Matt had a conference down in Salt Lake. So, while he attended his conference all day, my bestest friend, Melanie, came with her two boys to the hotel to swim, and then we lunched at her place. Will and Porter are two awesome dudes. :)
We then met up with Uncle Braden and bowled, and had some Creamery ice cream. Mmmm.

Cuteness. Is this a foreshadow of things to come? ;)

Since this picture, Audrey has started crawling. Her rolls aren't as...rolly anymore. :(

Thanks for bending down to my height, Mel!

Audrey's typical look when held by uncle Braden. ;)

Home sweet home.

We're finally getting our new house put together. So, here are some lovely photos. I threw in some of our garden, too. Aaand of course some of Audrey Jo. Oh, and I guess we'll include Father's Day! We tried to get some cute pictures of Audrey with a shirt that says "I love Grandpa" to send to the grandpas. She was not in the mood. These are the best we could do. Good thing she's cute no matter what. ;)

NOoo, she's not a tree-hugger.

No, she is not filling her diaper-or trying to.

Child prodigy...

WE. LOVE. AUDREY!! She is so much fun. She is into everything. She luuuhvs to stand up to everything. Including the piano! She's pretty much a child prodigy. maybe. The windows in the living room have deep window sills and they are just her height. So, she loves to stand up to them and look out the window. She also loves to stand in her crib. Before I moved it to the lowest setting, she would scrape the railing with her fang. Yep. We thought she was a vampire, turns out she's a beaver.

Now to the sad stuff. She got her first haircut. (sniff) Grandma Casperson was in town, and we decided Audrey's little mullet-strands needed a trim. I was so worried she would look so much older. But, it didn't change her to much. It really cleaned her hair up and she looks adorable. Unfortunately, Audrey is going through a phase of pulling her hair out. She pulls out anything that's in her hair (bows, elastics, head bands, cheerios, etc) and then continues to pull when they are out. I often find hair all over her highchair. (sigh.) I am hoping this phase will pass soon.

All compliments of Audrey's fang.

The culprit.

Before.

After.

Summer!

Eee-gads! It's been way too long. So much has happened! We are now in our wonderful home in Ammon, ID. We got our big garden in and things are actually growing! Audrey is CRAWLING! She is all over the place. Matt and I are now serving in the nursery in our ward. It's quite the experience. It's fun having a calling together. :) We also celebrated Matt and Braden's birthday on June 25th. My parents and Braden came up for the weekend. Friday night we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then opened presents and had cheesecake. We went to the Rexburg temple and did sealings on Saturday. It was Braden's first time, so that was neat. All in all, it was a great weekend.

Too bad they lost. :(

Braden's "cool" face. I guess he is pretty cool with that amazing tie. Who gave that to you?

They need their "man space."

Catching up....

It's been too long since I've posted pictures of little Audrey Jo! She is growing! She rolls everywhere! Sometimes her momentum just keeps her rolling across the room and she can't stop until she runs into the couch. It's pretty funny.

We are excited that we will soon be moving into a house! YES! We bought a home. Hopefully we will close on or before the 9th of April. Wahoo!

Here are some random photos of Audrey!!

We call her twinkle toes.

Valentine's

Yep. I know it is a little late. But, better late than never...I always say. Here are some pics of our dinner and one of Audrey and I. Don't ask me why Matt and I didn't get a picture together. I got pictures of the food and Audrey...sorry Matt. :)

This was a delicious dessert called "Chocolate Bundles." Mini candy bars go inside a square of puff pastry. I also put in some strawberries. You bring up the sides and twist the tops and bake them. Sooo easy. Then you serve it with some homemade chocolate ganache and whipped cream. Yum!

This was a new recipe I tried for chicken scampi. Holy cats. It was divine. Peppers, butter, garlic and lemon. What's there not to love?

Leap year...

Here are some 6 months photos of Audrey. She would be 6 months on February 30th. Buuut, there is no Feb. 30. So, we counted March 1st as her 6 month birthday! She is as fun and cute as ever. She rolls around the room getting into things. She started lunging a little bit, so it seems crawling is in the not-to-distant future.

Look at that reddish hue!

We are still prouder than punch about her legs!
